Breakfast Smoothie

I have been doing variations of this smoothie this week. The biggest change up was yesterday when I added cocoa and honey but left out the PB2.

The mix:
1 scoop chocolate veg protein
1 1/4 cup almond milk
1/2 scoop raw green powder
1 1/8 tbsp PB2
1/2 tbsp freeze dry coconut water

Calories 255

Apple with cinnamon to accompany the smoothie for 65 calories.

Adding Greens to Smoothie

I took one of my favorite smoothie mixes and added a scoop of powdered greens. I had not been using because I was afraid it would ruin the taste. It did not! It tasted the same.

The mix:
1 scoop chocolate veg protein powder
1 scoop green mix
1 1/2 cups flax milk
1 scoop peanut butter powder
1/8 cup cocoa
1 cup frozen banana

Smoothie

The morning of day six of the fast found another cheat smoothie on the coaster. I lightened up on the peanut butter and added wheat grass powder.
Mix: 1c flax milk, 1 banana, 1tbsp peanut butter, 3/4tsp powder, big handful of ice.
I am going to try some store bought natural juices for lunch.

Cheating on My Juicer

Half way through day 4 of a juice fast and my body was yelling for something besides green juice. So I broke out the blender. Slightly breaking the rules of a fast, a smoothie appeared.

Smoothie cheat: small banana, large tablespoon of peanut butter, flax milk.

Wow, it is good. I may add wheat grass powder if I cheat again so I don't feel as guilty.
